ERP is used in every big business out there, in many of the medium and even small businesses as well and is essential to a company running efficiently and utilizing their resources effectively, both in cost and efficiency.ERP system is what basically handles a lot of the internal processes of your business, using a range of networked Erp Modules that interconnect, interrelate, and share data but consists of many different permissions to keep certain data secure from lower level access employees.

Some of the ERP Modules handle inventory maintenance and control, human resources, information important to manufacturing and marketing a product or service, sales and production, various financial and logistical reports, accounting, production and many more.

You can see with just these few how comprehensive this software is and how it is responcible for a great deal of the company data stream management. ERP although is used by employees to some degree is mostly a behind the scenes data management and efficiency program that gives companies a way to manage and organize data in many ways.

No ERP software is universal across every system however by using modules a company can sort of Lego together their own particular modules that pertain to their business and its goals, then they can further tailor those modules to their specific needs.

Each module has a specific job and function in the company but it can share its data with other modules creating a synergistic effect which allows the software to generate and project reports that are helpful and department specific if need be in order to bring up production or to help in cutting corners, budgets and making more efficient use of the company resources.

ERP software is highly customizable and all modules work together across entire enterprises or within a single building.

The beauty of ERP modules is that even one enterprise can have many different parts that may not use certain modules in their particular sector of the business, this can be tailored in fragmented structures while still being able to share data.
